THE MORNING ROUTINE
The morning is a magical time, especially early in the morning before sunrise.
This is the best time to wake up and start your day in a positive way. Even if you have to go to work.
Very often we experience brain fog, especially if we have eaten late the night before or we have consumed alcohol. If we can manage to, we should try to get to bed before 10:30 in the evening and try to get up before 6 a.m.
The first thing we should do is to deal with oral hygiene. Take a little coconut oil and swish it around in your mouth for a few minutes. This will pull out most of the bacteria in your oral cavities. Then spit it out into the ground or into a large piece of tissue paper and throw it away.
Then drink a warm cup of green tea with a little organic honey if desired.
The next thing you should do is to engage in 5 minutes of deep breathing exercises outside.
Away from traffic. At this time of the morning the air is usually cleaner.
Method :
Breathe in and out deeply 30 times and then on the exhale hold your breath for about 30 seconds. Breathe in and out again 30 times and hold your breath again 30 seconds on the exhale.
Finally breathe in and out one more time 30 times.
This will expand your lungs and provide a well-needed boost of oxygen to your brain cells.
Cold Water therapy
Finally take a cold shower for a minute to contract and expand the blood vessels under your skin and provide a thermal shock to the system. Many athletes engage in such practice to enhance the removal of lactic acid in the system after their workouts. It also helps to reinforce the immune system.
